Tirana, Albania | Tirana Echo - Rebel socialist MP and founder of new political party Libra, Ben Blushi has repeated his public calls for a motion of non confidence in Parliament against Albania\'s Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Blushi has called on opposition leader Lulzim Basha and Speaker of Parliament Ilir Meta to join votes with his party to bring PM Rama down thorough a no-confidence vote.
\"Rama\'s renaissance does not have more than 60 mandates in parliament, which means that all the other parties together make up to 80 votes. Therefore, if the DP is interested to get the Renaissance out of Government and the LSI is interested to get the DP our of the tent, the necessary votes for a motion of no confidence against Edi Rama are there.\" - said Blushi on his Facebook page.
Blushi said that if the opposition democrats would agree to advance the justice reform and Meta\'s LSI would agree to join in a motion against Edi Rama, the two votes of LIBRA would be in favor
However, it is unclear what interests Blushi is currently pursuing. Only a day earlier, the socialist rebel MP who quit his party to form a new political movement last year, attacked all three leaders Rama, Meta and Basha as irresponsible politicians who are not willing to agree to a solution.
However, reputable political commentators have questioned Blushi\'s motivation behind his political moves.
In an article earlier this month, TV show host Blendi Fevziu said a motion of no confidence would be the gravest mistake at this point, adding that people should not believe Blushi and MPs should not bring down Rama.
\"If the compromise for a technical government is missing, the non confidence motion would be seen an attempt to grab the elections in the table and as a simple move against Rama as prime minister. But none of the political parties, at least publicly, do not have this purpose in mind and have stated that standards of elections would be achieved only when all sides have agreed.\" - said Fevziu.
